4.Use action terms and request an interview in your cover letter. You want to show the employer that you are serious about the position. Persistence is key!

5.Proofread, please! Many people don’t take the time to do this, but have some else other than yourself read your cover letter. It is easier for someone else to spot grammatical errors, misspellings, and typos. You want your cover letter to be a clear as possible.
